A centre built for one subject, done properly
Mastera Learning Center is a Montessori Math centre in Madinah for children from KG to Grade 8. It is a division of Mastera, which creates Montessori learning materials and workbooks.
The founder
Founded by Imane Sahouli, PYP Head of Mathematics.
The centre brings together two ways of working that rarely meet: the inquiry and conceptual understanding of the IB PYP, and the precise, hands-on materials of Montessori education.
The Mastera method, the skill sequence from KG to Grade 8 and the personal worksheet series all come from that classroom experience.

Guides, not tutors
At the centre the adults are called guides, because their job is to guide each child through their own program.
Every child is known by a guide who follows their program, presents their lessons and observes their mastery. Guides work from the same skill records, so a child is never re-taught what they already know, and nothing is marked mastered on one person’s impression.
- Lessons are presented with Montessori materials, in small groups or one to one.
- Guides record what they observe for each skill, every session.
- Mastery observations, term reports and family meetings are the guide’s responsibility.

Photos only with consent
We ask before any photo of your child is taken for updates. Photos are shared privately with your family, never published without separate written permission.
Private student records
Skill records, reports and messages are visible only to your family and to the staff who teach your child.
