After the diagnostic, every family receives a program map like this one, built from their own child’s results and reviewed by a guide. This sample is for Sara, a Grade 4 child with two gaps the diagnostic traced back to Grade 3.

Where Sara starts

The diagnostic placed Sara in each area of Math separately. A child is rarely at one level in everything, so each area gets its own starting point.

How Sara learns every skill

The same five steps, every time. Nothing is marked mastered from a worksheet score alone.

Lesson with materials

The guide presents the skill one-to-one or in a small group with the Montessori material.

Independent practice

The child works through their booklet pages and the material, repeating until it feels easy. Scores are recorded each day.

Ready for observation

When practice is accurate and independent across at least three sessions, the guide plans an observation.

Mastery verified

The guide sees the child show the skill independently, without materials, and records the evidence.

Spaced reviews

Short reviews after about 1 week, 3 weeks and 2 months. A skill that slips goes back into practice.

A week at the centre

  • 3 sessions of one hour, in a small group of at most four children per guide
  • A lesson with Montessori materials whenever a new step begins
  • Sara’s own worksheets: guided first, then independent, then a check
  • Scores recorded at the end of every session

How you will see progress

  • Every week: a family update with what Sara practised and mastered
  • Every few skills: a milestone check, shared with you
  • Every term: a progress report and a meeting with the guide
  • Any time: Sara’s progress in the Mastera family app

Sara is a sample child. Your child’s map is built from their own diagnostic and reviewed by a guide before you see it.
